iOS 26.2 Broke Scrabble Premium on iPhone

Anyone else still playing Scrabble Premium on iPhone? I’d been playing regularly since its release in 2008. The original install and game data has survived multiple iPhone migrations and worked through iOS 26.1 despite being last updated in 2020. Now it crashes after a few seconds of just showing the launch screen. I’m pretty limited in testing because it’s not in the App Store anymore.
Whatever Apple changed didn’t break the iPad version as of iOS 26.2 b3 so I’m hoping it stays that way.

I just found the same issue on the release version. Wish I'd have known or I wouldn't have upgraded. Hate the Scrabble Go app that came out to replace the working and excellent Original app. I already tried a few things like airplane mode, deselecting a variety of app options (siri, etc), the free version with ads, and a full restart. Nothing works, and I don't think there's any way to check any sort of debug logs if memory serves me.

Really hope it comes back in 26.3 but I'm not holindg my breath. Was such a shame that a great app was replaced by a terrible one lacking features (I can't find a way to play more than one computer opponent, and no dictionary) and making a mockery of the classic.

Crossing fingers the update breaks enough things that it will start working again on the next update. I'm off to search for whether it's possible to revert back to the prior version now!

Sigh. This sucks. I hope an update fixes it. The new version is so bad.
