So maybe my memory is fuzzy on this, but I could have sworn that in previous versions of iOS you could look at your missed calls list, and simply click on the missed call that you want to return, and the call would be made, whether it be cellular, FaceTime Audio or FaceTime Video. Basically the return call would be placed using the same method as the original missed call.

Now, you click on the missed call and you are presented with the caller's contact card. You then have to guess whether they called from a regular phone number, or placed a FaceTime call, and was it Audio or Video? It takes three clicks to return a call and you're still guessing how the caller originally called you.

I just want to call the person back using the same method that they called me.
 
Everything is 2x-3x difficult on iOS 26. It’s like Apple software engineers hate their users.
