iOS 26 beta 2 adds full support for the order tracking feature that Apple announced at WWDC. In the Wallet app, there is an option to let Siri scan your Mail app to find all orders and emails from merchants, even if those orders weren't made with Apple Pay.

The Wallet app previously had an order tracking feature, but it was only an option when an order was made using Apple Pay.

Order tracking was partially working in the initial iOS 26 beta, but the functionality was limited. The Wallet app is now able to scan your email and pull in all recent order emails with Apple Intelligence.

In the Wallet app, orders can be accessed by tapping on the "..." button and choosing the "Orders" option. Using on-device intelligence to scan the Mail app is opt-in.

iOS 26 is limited to developers right now, but a beta will be made available to public beta testers in July. The order tracking option will require an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.

Beta 2 seems to be a bit more stable. But will see how things go. Battery life was ok but not great in the first Beta and I was getting freezing when accessing the App Library. Overall I really do like the design and the changes to CarPlay.

If the only source of tracking numbers is Apple Mail, then this feature has no use for me and I'll need to continue to using AfterShip. Adding the option to manually add tracking numbers seems like a no brainer to me.
You could just sign in to Apple Mail, disable the notifications from it and hide the app.

After installing beta 2, Wallet found a few Amazon orders from last week, but failed to mark them as delivered/complete. (I had to do so manually.) Also, surprisingly, it ignored a more recent Amazon order from Saturday. All of the Amazon email confirmations are in the same location. So, there's no reason for Saturday's order to have been omitted.

I hope Apple makes this feature more reliable and robust. I'd love to delete the app Deliveries, which was crippled, a while back, when FedEx and UPS made changes that prevent Deliveries.app from accessing their tracking info.

I also frankly find it odd (counterintuitive) to include delivery tracking within the Wallet app, but that's a minor quibble.

Looks like this is only available in the U.S., at least for now. It's also explicitly tagged as "beta," which suggests Apple will release it in that state in the fall.

For me, this seems like a good use of AI. If it goofs, no harm done because you can just check emails. But there is value having Siri go look for the emails and keep track of orders in one place, at least for me.

It might be but I’m not 100%. I’m in Australia and have a few recent order update emails that suggest there is something updating in the background. I don’t know if this is truly new, as this is a repeat order Wallet tracked automatically without iOS 26.

Hmm, yeah, that looks like it might be the normal order tracking from purchases made through Apple Pay with sites that have implemented it directly.

Do you see the extra Mail setting below when you go into Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Order Tracking? I’m in Canada, and this doesn’t appear for me unless I set my iPhone Region to the U.S., and that was the only way I got the splash screen shown in the original article…

The Mail (Beta) toggle isn’t in my settings nope. Very strange. The screenshot I sent was taken in Mail, and within wallet it seems to be using some sort of intelligence to collate the emails sent with tracking updates, even those from the carrier. This may be old news, but I can’t recall these emails being available in Wallet before. 🤷‍♂️

Chalk it up to early beta weirdness, I guess 😏

That definitely sounds like the new iOS 26 feature, and I haven’t seen any footnotes where Apple says this is U.S. only, so maybe it’s just not fully baked yet.

Update: I went into some of my old order emails and saw the same banner, but these look like they’re manually tracked only when you add them, while the description on the splash screen and the toggle suggests it automatically scans the Mail app for new orders, so that might be where the difference lies right now.

However, when I manually track an order it also shows all the prices in USD. More beta weirdness, but it begs the question as to whether the feature is supposed to be limited to the U.S. but is missing some of the limitations, or it just hasn’t been updated for other regions yet.

Nice upgrade. iOS 26 Beta 2 makes order tracking in Wallet more useful by pulling in emails beyond Apple Pay, with on-device scanning via Siri. Looking forward to trying it in the public beta.

This will be amazing. For 5% of your orders. The rest will be missing in action because the stars and planets are not aligned perfectly for Siri.

Or scan from 3rd party apps.

Further to my message from yesterday, two Wallet notifications just popped up on my screen from email confirmations of Amazon orders I placed this morning.

So, iOS 26 DB2 does seem to automatically pick up new orders from Mail outside of the US, even though the splash screen and switch to toggle it on or off don't appear unless my region is set to the United States.

Interestingly, the two it detected automatically this morning are also correctly reflected in Canadian dollars. The two I added manually yesterday still show the prices with a "US$" prefix, despite all being Amazon confirmation emails with the same format.
