Hi,

I've noticed on the lockscreen my wallpaper looks as I'd expect it to but when I go into the home screen it sort of loses its saturation.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I had this issue I read somewhere when setting home screen wallpaper set it to blur and then turn off the blur and the saturation should come back.
A bit annoying though.

Doesn't work unfortunately. I have a screen recording is there a best way to share it on here?

If you press down on your Home Screen background, select Edit from the to left corner, select Edit Wallpaper from the drop down menu, then tap the Photo option at the bottom of the screen, what photo effect is selected at the bottom of the screen?

It’s set to natural but have to go into wallpaper then customise to see that, saturation looks fine there.

Yup it’s on day mode, I just use dark icons. It’s correct on the lock screen and also correct when in wallpaper settings but then just desaturates as per the video when going home. Really strange.

I'm also able to recreate the loss of saturation in day mode.

I suspect this is a feature, where Apple is reserving full saturation range for foreground objects (app icons, widgets) and doing a slight desaturation on the wallpaper behind them. It's more noticeable with extremely saturated images. I hadn't noticed it with my previous wallpaper because it's low saturation to begin with.
