iOS 26 PB1 lock screen time display has a solid outline instead of shiny/white

When I go to edit/change wallpaper the time looks normal(see 2nd attached image) but when on the actual lock screen it woild change to a solid outline instead(see 1st attached image). Did I change a weird setting, or is this a device-specific bug? iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Maybe there is some accessibility setting enabled? 🤔

actually there is, it’s hidden really deep. Accessibility>Per-App Settings>Home screen and app library>Increase Contrast (turn it off). honestly there is no reason why it would be so hard to find
