iPod touch iOS 4.0 Green/Yellow screen on iPT 2G

Since upgrading to iOS 4.0, my iPod touch occasionally locks up when I turn it on and just displays a green/yellow screen.

I have to restart it a few times and connect/disconnect it from the PC to make it start up properly.

Does this happen to anyone else, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Happened to me once after it had auto shutdown for low battery, I just left it connected and it came right after it had charged enough to boot.

That's what I usually do, but once when it happened I had to put it in DFU mode and restore.
