I've had the iPhone 4 since July and haven't updated it at all since. I skipped the 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 updates and was wondering if I can update straight to 4.1 next week? Will 4.1 include the previous updates such as the signal bar display and pdf exploit fix?

no if you miss the update thats it you cant do it so no signal bar and pdf security for you im afraid!

Where do you get your information?

You'll be able to upgrade with no problem. 4.1 will include everything from previous versions.

You'll be fine, I'm sure. Worst case - and I doubt you'll have to do this - is you do all three updates one at a time.

Much more likely, iTunes will tell you that 4.1 is available, and it'll install it.

Yes, 4.1 will include all the previous updates, and you shouldn't have a problem updating from 4.0 directly to 4.1.

It makes no difference whether you upgrade from 4.0, 4.0.1, or 4.0.2. Apple only releases iOS updates as a complete OS (not a patch), so the update will wipe your existing iOS version and replace it with iOS 4.1.

Obviously you know Nothing about Bios Programming / Firmware Programming;)

Any current Bios/Firmware has all previous Bios Upgrades incorporated into latest build.
Just so you know:)

iOS has always updated via a full replacement of the previous iOS version - so yes, it will include the previous updates.

Thanks for the info everyone! Looking forward to the 4.1 update next week.
