Now that the big press conference is over ...

Are people still upgrading to 4.01 and is anyone still having error issues?

Have you decided not to upgrade? Why?

Does the upgrade do anything WORTH doing?

Update - I finally bit the bullet and attempted the 4.0.1 update.

No problems <whew>! Took about 7 minutes to d/l and less than 10 minutes to do the actual update. :D

It only changes the signal strength heuristics so the phone will now display less bars then before. Is that worth doing, I don't think so, but that's my opinion.

there are a number of hidden updates in 4.0.1 this being one of them.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

Upgraded over the weekend. Everything went as it should.

It fixed a video export bug I was having.

Sean.

Mine upgraded fine. I like it because it shows how many bars I actually have. It's usually about one lower than before the update..
