Is there centralized list or place that is tracking package compatibility with iOS 4.1?

One could go crazy trying track that information on this forum. At least the way it is being presented currently.

I guess I could contact the individual developers....what a pain.

BiteSMS works if you add the beta source code to get the beta version 5.0. BiteSMS is great because it has the much needed quick reply feature not implemented in Apple's iOS firmware.

I'll have to dig up the link but there was a google doc that had compatibility..

Does anyone know what will happen when the beta...uh...leaves beta? Since it's on a different repo altogether, will Cydia prompt you with an update even though it's a different pkg?

Also, 4.1 brought about a wonderful bug with categories. I don't know if it's caused by Categories, 4.1, or the limera1n JB, and honestly it would be impossible to narrow it down. Basically, Categories will now CRASH instantly, if you try to open a folder that has too few apps (the number may vary, for me it was <4 because my iconoclasm layout dictates 4 columns of apps in every categories folder) and page scrolling enabled. My "Apple" folder, for instance, only had 3 apps in it, and with horizontal scrolling, it would crash SB every single time I tapped it. Couldn't figure out why for the longest time. I threw iBooks in there and now it's fine.

Okay, here is a list of what I have installed that I don't know about in regards to iOS 4.1 compatibility:

asVibra 2 for 4.0
AT&T Carrier Logo iPhone 4
BrowserChanger
iAdKiller
iWipe Cache
KeepAwake (SBSettings toggle)
MultiIconMover
MxTube
Rename II
Rotation Inhibitor (SBSettings toggle)
SpringFlash
Springflash SBSettings
USB Drive
iSmart Dialer
PlayAwake
Popup Blocker

Anyone use them apps successfully, or not, on iOS 4.1?

A bit off topic but which repos did you add? Some of these packages don't show up under any of the default cydia repos. Thanks!

The "AT&T Carrier Logo iPhone 4" package isn't an issue any more.

This package renames two existing png files and then installs two news ones. I modified my "MyCustomStuff" WinterBoard theme to make the change instead.

Assuming, in iOS 4.1, the file "FSO_CARRIER_ATT@2x.png" is in this dir:

/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/ATT_US.bundle/

All will work fine.

I prefer this method because it leaves the stock file system intact and is more portable. Plus, it is simpler to enable and disable. Instead of removing or installing a package via Cydia Installer, I just turn off or on a theme.

I have these packages working well on 4.1:
asVibra 2 for 4.0
Clear Lockscreen iOS4
Clear Status Bar
Color Signal and Wifi bars
Five Icon Dock
Five Icon Switcher
FolderCloser
Gridlock
iFile
iWeather Widget
Locktopus
MakeItMine
Navigate From Maps
NoAccessorySplash
OpenSSH
PlayAwake
SnapTap
SwitcherPlus
TetherMe
Winterboard
Yourtube 2
3G Unrestrictor

Thanks B737 and boshii!

Now I am down to this list:

BrowserChanger
iAdKiller
iWipe Cache
KeepAwake (SBSettings toggle)
MultiIconMover
MxTube
Rename II
Rotation Inhibitor (SBSettings toggle)
SpringFlash
Springflash SBSettings
USB Drive
iSmart Dialer

I know FolderEnhancer is not iOS 4.1 compatible yet. But what about Backgrounder? Anyone have info on that? I know that ashikase says it is untested and to use at your own risk. Well?

Anyone use them apps successfully, or not, on iOS 4.1?
