I've been enjoying using the mobile me over the air notes syncing that came with OS 4.0 on my 2g iPod Touch since it came out. I upgraded to 4.1 a few days ago and realized today that this functionality is now gone. In accounts the on/off slider for notes is no longer there and the notes app no longer has separate folders for on my touch and mobile me. Please tell me that I've missed something and that Apple isn't being a jerk.

Furthermore I found this article on Apples support site which makes it seem to be the case. "Notes syncing via IMAP is available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation)"

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4231

I know this hasn't always been the case. I really don't want to have to downgrade to the previous 4.0 version as this update did help improve performance by a little (or at least it seems that way) but I don't know how else to get the notes syncing back. It's a feature i really appreciated and have no clue as to why it was removed considering it worked fine.

Sorry for the rant but hopefully others can use this as a warning. Additionally any info that others can give would much be appreciated.
