Seriously, it's a minor feature, but would have been extremely useful at times for me.

Where I'm from on Long Island, AT&T coverage is horrible, so when I go home I get message failure all the time. Here in Florida, the coverage is perfect so I haven't had a chance since 4.0 to see it in action.

I only noticed this for the first time a couple days ago! I heard that it was a new feature in 4.0 but never seen it. It's great, I'm glad it's there now but maybe it's just my iPhone but it didnt make an alert noise or anything to let me know that It didn't send.
It's better than thinking you've sent a text, then looking back like an hour later to realise its not even sent!
Either add an alert noise or automatically have the phone resend when theres enough signal
