iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak does not work

Hey folks,

I tried to activate and jailbreak my iPhone 4 but I won't work. I conserved my baseband, updated from iOS 4.1 to 4.2.1 and tried to Jailbreak with with latest RedSn0w. The problem is that the iPhone will not boot after the jailbreak. It's stuck on the Apple symbol. I tried it to jailbreak with PwnageTool 4.1.3 also but I will not activate the iPhone 4 so I cannot use my T-mobile card. Any suggestions?

U need to use redsnow to help it boot up, it's tethered.

You cannot preserve your baseband at 4.2.1 on an iPhone 4. The new OS has a Baseband check to prevent your iPhone from booting if it does not have the newest BB.

If you have your shsh's saved, revert back to your last firmware. If not, well, you're SOL i think...

That's his problem. His BB is preserved, but iOS4.2.1 will not boot on an iPhone 4 if an old BB is installed.
