iOS 4.3.1 Baseband update to disable Personal Hotspot

Seeing as this was a convenient workaround for providers that didn't offer tethering at no extra cost is apple going to rectify this with it's baseband update in 4.3.1?
I've just sold my Myfi cause Personal Hotspot works so well and I hardly use anywhere near my monthly data allowance!

I don't understand what you are asking? Why would Apple disable a feature that they just added in the last iOS update?

Apologies, what I meant was, will they enable providers to disable the feature like they did tethering?

Carriers can already disable the personal hotspot feature if they want to though.

Right, was just curious because before 4.3 tethering was disabled on my 3GS and after 4.3 I can use Personal Hotspot just fine. I'm on Three mobile.

Oh, ok, understood. If the carrier does not want personal hotspot offered, they can disable it.
