I was on the phone with a Verizon tech. It wasn't a customer support rep, as I had been escalated because of an issue I am having. While he was waiting on some info to come in from someone else, we had some downtime. He asked me about my iPhone. He then said "you didn't hear this from me (hence I'm not mentioning his name) but 4.3 is being tested on the Verizon iPhone now". When he says 4.3, he must really be referring to 4.3.1, or more likely 4.3.2 since we know from Boy Genius Reports that is already being tested on the GSM iPhone 4 and iPad.
So take it for what it is, but if it's true then sounds like we're pretty close to having the CDMA iPhone catch up to the GSM version in the software area.
