iOS 4.3 beta 3 - Better support for iPhone in car stereos?

I'm not sure if this is old news, but I noticed yesterday that my car stereo Pioneer 5200SD now supports the iPhone 4 through the iPod channel with the usb cable input after I installed the 3rd beta. I've been using the AUX up until now.

Looks like they have improved the support for 3rd party accessories in the latest version.

Is anybody else experiencing the same?

I didn't have any tracks in the music player, only on Spotify - so I weren't able to tell if it's possible to remote access the iPod player thorugh the stereo. Can anybody confirm?

Does it play better from the iPod channel then through auxiliary ?

I didn't hear any differences then. Maybe if I listen carefully. There was more options to create a different sound and changes to a lot of stuff. However, the usb cable is digital (correct me if I'm wrong) so theoretically there should be less interferences?
