Hello guys,

I was looking at the Apple website and saw this new feature in v4.3 (Personal Hotspot for iPhone 4). I guess ATT is not going to have additional charge for doing this?... The last thing a knew was that Att was charging for doing Tethering.

... and when is iOS 4.3 available for download?

when - march 11th iirc

cost - on ATT same as any other tethering, $20 per 2gb? Not 100% as im in UK and completley different here.

Im sure there will be at least 10 threads about it on the first page of the iphone forum so not hard to find out

AT&T's plan that allows for the tethering is $45 that gets you 4gbs of data to use on your phone and or devices..

Public release of 4.3 is March, 11th.. (Next Friday)

tethering is actually complimentary. The requirement is that you purchase a minimum 4GB data plan. Next year when I go to grad school, I might not even bother with home internet if AT&T's coverage is decent where I will be. I could just tether off my 3G connection. I use about 2-3 gigs a month on home internet, and less than 1 gig on my 3G connection.
