iOS 4 Homescreen in Landscape for iPhone 4

So how come they did not include landscape in homescreen in iOs 4 for iPhone 4 just like the iPad?:confused: It would be cool to see that feature in our iPhone I think.
 
There's not really enough screen real estate for the home screen to reorient itself the same way it does on the iPad. The aspect ratio isn't good for it compared to the iPad, either.
 
That is something I would love to see. I don't really understand the screen real estate argument. The icons don't grow in any way so the real estate would be exactly the same. The dock can stay on the side and all of the apps can just rotate 90 degrees.

you make a good point. I can imagine the status icons on top, and then I guess only 2 rows of apps Icon, 5 icons on each row and then on the bottom the docks? I guess not really enough space, oh well :p
 
I had sb rotator when my 3GS was jailbroken, and other than some lag every now again, it looked and worked pretty good. I would have loved for apple to have implemented it.
