iOS 4, iTunes 9.2 beta, iPhone 3GS: can't sync some videos now

With iOS4 on my 3GS and using iTunes 9.2 beta, I am now unable to sync many videos that I was previously able to with 3.1.3 and 9.1. Some are .m4v, some are .mp4, some are HD, some are SD, all H.264 encoded with HandBrake. iTunes gives a message that the movies weren't copied to the iPhone because they cannot be played by it. Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions? Hopefully it will be corrected with iTunes 9.2 final.

So the issue persists with iTunes 9.2 final. This sucks. Anyone have any suggestions?
