ios 5.0.1 to 6.1.3

Hello,

i have an ipad2 32GB wifi 3G with IOS 5.0.1 and i would like to update to ios 6.1.3.
I have an old backup with 6.1.3 from my old ipad thats broaken. But i can not restore to the new device because its to old.

What can i do to get my backup restored to my new device?

I don't think you'll be able to update to 6.1.3 as Apple has stopped signing for it, and your device is capable of going to iOS 7. Think your only options are to stick with iOS 5 or go for it and update to iOS 7
