I have internet access on my iPhone previously with a my previously Mobile carrier.

Recently, I switched over to Vodafone, and no 3G access at all...

However, i just did the IOS 5.1.1 update today, iPhone restarted after applying the update, and all of a sudden I now see the "3G" icon on the menu bar I previously didn't with Vodafone.

There was no mention of this on Apple website concerning the of the update such as : "May cause no internet to some small amount of users" would have eased... but nothing...

ANyone else have any issues ? And why would Apple state this ? Its not my mobile carrier, as 3G was always enabled on my iPhone,,, there was just no internet access... not even 2G access. As every time I went to "Software Update" it said "Unable to connect to internet"

...

Fixed..

I reset "Network Settings" after applying the IOS update.

Works fine now. :)
