Few people found a bug with contacts when they received text messages or calls. The phone didn't recognize the person's name the title of a text or name calling was only the phone number.
Example:
The issue appears isolated to iPhone 4S users on the Verizon network who updated to iOS 5.0.1 over the air.
you can resolve the issue by calling Verizon or disabling and re-enabling iCloud contacts
