Hi all,

Just a quick question.

I am planning to upgrade to iOS 5 tomorrow when it launches and I am not sure on what to do with my email addresses.

I have an @me.com address that I use for emails and currently for syncing calendars, contacts etc through mobile me.

I also have another email address which I use as my ID for iTunes and mac app store.

Is it possible to keep these as is or do I have to pick one address?
i.e. Can i use the @me.com address for emails, contacts and calendars through iCloud and then the other address for all my app store purchases?
Is there any way of combining the two addresses so that I can just have the one address?

Thanks for your help.

See http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html

If I use different accounts for iTunes and MobileMe, can I merge them into a single account and use it with iCloud?
No. You cannot merge two accounts into one. However, you will be able to move your MobileMe account (yourname@me.com) to iCloud and, if you choose, you can continue to use a different iTunes account for store purchases and iTunes in the Cloud.

Your iCloud has a separate login from your iTunes. Yes you can continue. My wife and I use my email for iTunes and we have separate iCloud accounts.

Thanks for this answer. I have been wondering if me and my girlfriend would be able to have our separate iclouds for contacts and such while still sharing downloads in iTunes.
