Just incase this happens to someone else.
I tried to install the new beta this morning through xcode and it failed. My phone would not come back on and it said I needed to restore in itunes back to the older version. I found the solution on the apple forums, you need to option+click on the restore button in itunes(NOT xcode) and select the new beta image from there. Xcode restores do not work.
