Should I upgrade my iphone to iOS 5 beta!?
My phone is jailbroken and use Gevey Sim to unlock.
Will it effect anything to my phone!?
I just wanna try to use iOS 5, wanna know how cool it would be.
I need some information and advice!
Thank you all! :)

I don't mean to blabber the same stuff that's been blabbered all over the place, but:

Don't use the iOS 5 beta unless you're a developer -OR- you really really know what you're doing and simply insist on satiating your curiosity.

Gevey sim has been disabled in Ios 5 beta 2 so you will lose that functionality if you do upgrade. Also it will obviously be included in the final Ios 5 software so the Gevey sim will not work!

I just wanna learn more about developing.
But if it's not the thing to should put my hand on, that's fine
;)

Also, the betas expire, so if you upgrade to beta 1, at some point you will be forced to upgrade to beta 2 where your Gevey SIM will cease to function.

FYI both Beta 1 and Beta 2 expire at the same time, 4th of August.

You can go to Beta 2 and maintain your Gevey unlock, you need to use sn0wbreeze to maintain your baseband from Beta 1, whether this will continue to work going forward nobody really knows.

If you are running Beta 1, Beta 2 is worth the upgrade, it is considerably quicker and more stable than Beta 1.

Do you have a Mac? If so just buy Xcode as there is an iPad / iPhone emulator so you can learn iOS programming.

I do have MBP and I also have Xcode.
But I don't know how to use it, at all....
