I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 beta 2 on iTunes 10.5 beta 1, all went well except for the fact that I couldn't sync my music, apps, etc. I installed 10.5 beta 2 and my phone started to sync. Why is this?

I wouldn't recommend Windows users to update to iOS 5 beta 2 just yet as, from what I understand, there is no iTunes 10.5 beta 2 for windows.

1) there is a windows version of itunes 10.5b2

2) can you really not figure out why it doesn't sync with the earlier version of itunes?

3) you're the kind of person who shouldn't be installing beta software

It's in the release notes!!!

I'm not going to criticize non-developers who are installing iOS 5 betas. But if you are doing it the least you can do is read the release notes! They're posted on pretty much every Apple blog and it might avoid you upgrading to a beta that breaks some feature you need.

If you want to use a beta OS at least be smart about it.
