I just have a question for all you iOS 5 beta users...Do notifications for third-party apps work at all for you? They don't for me.

no they do not, and for obvious reasons.. the apps need updating to work wit the new ios5 properly
That's not true. Depends on the app. Chase, AT&T, High Noon, eBay, etc, all work for me.
yes i have. i just have not used it with any of the apps mentioned above that seem to work.
Facebook is a pain in the arse for me on Notification Center.
Sometimes notifications come through, sometimes they never appear at all or if they do, they're 5 minutes late, lol.

so you're clearly not a developer, why are you using iOS 5 beta and spreading false information then?
Well you incorrectly stated apps have to be updated to use notification centre. That is totally made up. All existing apps should work with notification centre already as its just a change on the iOS side of how it notifies the user. No new coding needed for apps. Any apps not doing notifications properly are just glitching due to the new OS and will be working by time iOS 5 is out
well we will see when the final release of ios 5 comes out. im not updating any of my apps, specifically mlb and we will see if it works with out an update..
why am i using it? because i can, and i know it irks you = )
and by the way you could stay very busy and accomplish nothing else but correcting the false information thrown around on here,, so get to work!!

You're the one spreading the false info! If apps have to be updated to use the notification centre then how are Facebook, beejive, whatsapp, pingchat, ancestry.com, Skype, angry birds, all working with it on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5 and my iPad.....
Some work some don't, I found Words With Friends free notifications don't work on either of my iPad or my iPhone but the paid versions do.
i dont know, since you are the developer why don't you tell us why they are working and some others not working? and stop with the ios 5 is in beta nonsense. thats not a good enough argument. if some work then all of them should work if app updates were not needed. your argument can be used both ways genius. it is common knowledge that most apps need to be updated to work with other ios updates in the past. and that app updates start rolling out soon before or right after an ios update
