I can't get my media to sync ever since Beta 1 of iOS 5. I have upgraded through every beta version, resetting my iPhone 4 every time.

I tried uninstalling iTunes, erasing everything on my phone, restoring, reinstalling iTunes, then deleting all music from the iTunes library, and finally adding all music back to the iTunes library.

No errors occur, but videos and music do not sync.

10.5 and I was using Betas 1-5 of it. Everything else syncs properly.

Are you restoring from a backup or starting with a clean blank phone each time?

I'm experiencing this problem as well and it's driving me nuts. Yes, I know it's all beta software, but I know not everyone's experiencing these issues (it seems) and I think that by beta 5 a critical function such as syncing should be fixed.

Here's what I'm having problems with (all using USB connection):

  • Music will not auto-sync. I can only get music onto my iPhone by manually managing music and dragging it onto the device.
  • Apps don't seem to sync at all.
  • Photos won't sync, although new albums created in iPhoto do show up (with no photos within).

If anyone has a solution to this, it would be highly appreciated.
