iOS 5-can't create a iCloud username with password

I'm not sure if its allowed yet on the beta but when I went to create on it said there was some errors.

i was able to create a couple.. what i would like to know is what will happen when there is no more mobile me. will i lose my mobile me address and aliases? or will i be able to use them on the icloud server or what ever it is? right now i was unable to use icloud with my existing mobile me address. but i was able to create new ones.

When iCloud is officialy launched, you will be able to migrate your MobileMe account over to iCloud
