so far, it looks like the swiping between apps is missing. is there anything else missing?

Besides gestures, is there anything different between the ipod and ipad functionality of ios5?

There's no iCard on the iPod TOuch!

Seriously what's the big deal about iCard? Just walk to the shops and purchase a physical card, sign it and then mail it. Ta da! ;) Hey, how about iFlowers for the girlfriend? I'm sure she would appreciate it..

People at this rate relying completely on tech, kids will grow up with zero or little writing abilities.

Writing is so last century.

As I know Gestures can also be used in iPod Touch in the Accessibility. But I'm not sure about it.:D

The gestures aren't like the iPad and they are just weird. However if your homebutton is going you can use it. (has a virtual home button when you tap on it) I forget the name of it right now darn lol.

The iPad doesn't have the weather and stock widgets in the Notification Center. Can't think of many right now I don't have an iPad.
Yep. The iPod has that and the iPad does not. Good point.

Not the same, I am afraid. It is kind of weird, and maybe helpful for some people, but I can't get it to replicate the functionality.

I am sure their skill at typing on a keyboard will translate into an ability to write with pens and pencils. Why would sending a card this way be any different than a normal card? Unless, of course, it is more personable than a store-bought one and more convenient, so it actually gets sent.

Yep. That is cool. I hope I don't have that home button problem!

I know that iPod Touch does not have Siri.

But does it have microphone button on keyboard for dictation?
