Just to let everyone know, I am a new iPad user. I realize icloud and iOS 5 are suppose to come this fall. But, when I downloaded a song off my iPhone, (while my iPad 2 was charging), I got a message on my iPad telling me to turn on my automatic downloads to receive new purchases from other devices (wirelessly). So I did, and I was takin to iTunes purchases, which enabled me to download that song. My question is, has the icloud icon always been next to the purchased item u can redownload on your new device? I guess I never noticed that before.

Now that to me, sounds exactly like what icloud is suppose to be. Or am I wrong?

That is iCloud iTunes Beta. Available to everyone right now, has been since June. Essentially what iCloud will be like once it is fully released.

I would predict at least another 4 weeks at the very earliest.... But closer to 6 weeks in reality.
As there is still a good amount of work that still needs to be done IMHO
