After the debacle of upgrading my iPhone 3 to iOS 4 and watching it think about things forever, can someone offer some insight on the performance if iOS 5 on iPhone 4?

I'd like to be sure my phone will stay teh snappy.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Great just like in the 50 other threads asking the same question

At first once you install it on your phone itll be a little slow for 5 mins then runs faster then ios 4 after

iOS 5 on my i4 feels great. No lag either, all of my apps seem pretty quick as well. There's no need for a 4S :D

You guys are lucky. I managed to get IOS 5 on my iPad after a few hiccups, but the iPhone download is going very, very slow. It's saying 7 hrs when the iPad download only made we wait a hr.

I'm about to go crazy.

That's exactly why I updated to the GM a few days ago. :p ;)

Did your app data come across ok? Saved games etc?
Make sure you have a current backup and it'll restore fine.
