iOS 5 podcast app not appearing

anyone experiencing this bug? I have OS 5 on my series 3 cellular watch. iOS 12 is installed on my 8 plus. But the podcast app doesn’t appear on my watch. It doesn’t show up at all. This was the feature I wanted in OS 5 and I’m bummed it’s broken and it’s not working.

I didn't have it either. My problem was, that i deleted it from my iPhone some time ago. after installing it again from the appstore it also appeared on the watch.

do you have the podcast app on your phone?

Same issue here. After restarting the watch the podcast app sort-of appears on the watch; just the outline of the app is there. Even after selecting stuff on the phone podcast app and putting the watch on the charger a while.

Also tried uninstalling / reinstalling the app on the phone & watch -- no luck.

damn I tried overcast but its not copying the podcast i want either. Damn hopefully a fix is issued soon

Ok I reset and erase my Apple Watch and the it seems to have fixed the issue

Thanks for reporting that, it's what I figured I'd have to do but haven't been in a good position to do so yet.

UPDATE: was able to do a complete wipe/reset/restore on my watch last night and now it's working fine. No idea what the issue was.

I’m trying to figure out the podcast app on the watch. It downloaded all of the episodes of each podcast. I just it to download or mirror what’s on my iPhone (the setting is download latest, keep only 1 podcast episode each).
