iOS 5 preinstalled?

I've seen someone ask this before iOS 5 was released, but was it ever confirmed that iOS 5 now definitely does come preinstalled with a newly purchased ipad2?

Im sure there are places that have older stock with its iOS 4 still on them, Walmart or target maybe. Definitely if you get one at the apple store it will be ios 5. But there is no way to know until you open the box and turn it on.

Why do you still want iOS 4 anyway? I can't think of a single reason.....

I just bought direct from apple, and it was on iOS5 as I had expected.

I got mine in the mail yesterday directly from Apple and it was installed with iOS4. My local Apple store also has no iOS5 iPads in stock.

Nope, only 4.3.3 was jailbreak able on the iPad 2. If it doesn't have iOS 5, it will definitely have 4.3.5 and cannot be jail broken.....

Everything that shipped from China after the release date came with iOS 5 installed.

Anything else was in stock.

mine came with OS5 pre-installed!

watch for the iCloud logo on the short sides of the box,... all with iCloud logos come with OS5 pre-installed.
