I had a 3GS that I upgraded to iOS 5 on Wednesday and then on Friday I got the new 4S. On both of these devices photos in Gmail are doing a couple of things that did not happen in the prior OS.
-On the prior OS when I was on WiFi pictures sent to my Gmail were ready for viewing when I would open the email. When not on WiFi I would generally have to tap the picture for it to download and then it would come up.
-With the new OS I generally have to tap the photo even if I am on WiFi for it to download AND after the download the screen will stay blank for up to a minute before the photo appears.
Any thoughts on how to make things work like before? Because it happened on both phones I know it is not device specific but it would seem to be software specific.
