A pretty big change that i noticed in IOS 5 is the ability to change the sounds of almost any system action. I hope this stays in the final release.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A5274d Safari/7534.48.3)

I really like this as well. With all of their additions with regards to sounds an vibrations in iOS 5, I can't see them removing this feature.

I really hope it stays too. I'd be super peeved if it gets removed.

Btw can you point me in the right direction to get those Backberry tones?:)

X2.

Also, are there new sounds in iOS 5? I haven't seen them posted anywhere yet.

have you tried looking on http://audiko.net ?

as for new sounds, only the twitter tweet sound from what i see, also people are saying that the 3GS now has the new sounds that the iPhone 4 got back in 4.2 (i think it was then).

 I have a long way to go

Haha, I felt like that too, and once I was able to have one I had no clue what use so I set it as this lame one of my phone lol.

Back on topic, I'm excited to hear that the 3GS is getting new sounds, but I'll probably use the stock ones just cos I'm so used to them by now. The Twitter one could make a cool message tone though

Your welcome.

Considering Notification Centre was one of the top ten new features of iOS 5, pretty sure the ability to load custom sounds will remain.

Long overdue!

Yea i think they will stay idk why they would put that feature in just for a beta.
