Mine has been very stable, not one crash that would cause it to reboot. Plus there is a semi tethered jailbreak now.

Change your region to 'United States' under Settings>General>International. Problem solved.

Is anyone using the tethered jailbreak with ultrasn0w? I would like to upgrade to iOS 5, but I need the ultrasn0w unlock (I still have the 1.59.00 baseband). I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this combination. How stable is the tethered jailbreak with Ultrasn0w?
