With the release of IOS 5 for iphone/ipad, i was just wondering how the "over the air" stuff woud take hold.
It makes sense on a iphone and ipad with 3G, as Itunes need to ativate, so teething was previously been required.
But why an ipad with WiFi only ?
The only reason i could come up with was, to automatically sync contacts after inital setup (for example. a new ipad just been bought)
Also, if the users restores ipad due to issues, what connection method would be used to setup from scratch? (I assume this would also be done over the air).
But since its a non-3G model, the only other way would be Wireless connection, and if router happends to have WP2 pass on... then it won't connect unless you enter it,
will this itunes connectity always reamain, as an option, for initial setup. ?
