I do not have this problem. There's not really any such thing as a "UK model", Apple produces only a few of each type of device and they are sold in more than one country. If there was an issue, it'd be down to the region or language settings. EDIT: Yes I do. It only appears if you have the 12 hour clock enabled. People in Europe normally use the 24 hour clock, people in the US use the 12 hour clock. To me, the timer is functioning correctly - it's the display of the time remaining that isn't.
