I'm not sure if this was asked already in previous or other threads but I'm getting my replacement iPhone 5 on Friday and I wanted to know can I go from iOS 6.1.4 to iOS 7 Beta 6 via DFU mode when it comes. Can anyone fill me in so I can know ahead of time what process to take when my replacement comes. Thanks!

If you're a registered developer, yes you can. But you will need to add your new device to your developer account, since UDID changes with each device.

I am a registered developer and thanks for reminding me to add my UUID to my developer account. I had remove my broken registered iPhone 5 so the first thing I gotta do is add my new replacement UUID to my account. Thanks, Tyler

Sure thing. Also remember, it may take a few hours, up to a day for the UDID to be registered with your account, so don't try to update to iOS 7 until you get confirmation.

Glad I could help!

Might as well wait for GM on Tuesday, since you'll have to update via iTunes and restore from backup anyway.

Yeah! I might as well

Yeah, I know. Thanks again, Tyler

...or just wait the five days and install the GM on the 10th.

Knowing me... I can't wait for nothing but I might as well
