Both my iPhone and iPad were on 6.1 beta 4. I upgraded the iPhone to beta 5 in time and there was no problem. However I was late in upgrading my iPad and last night (8PM EST) it turned to activation screen. I plugged it into iTunes and iTunes told me that the beta has expired (as expected). So I upgraded to beta 5 via iTunes. But after the upgrade my iPad still complains that activation server is unavailable and this time even iTunes could not help (also says cannot activate). Any one on the same boat there?

DFU back and restore to 6.0.2

Maybe you have wrong version of ipsw

Nope, tried 3 downloads, one from the Dev site, one from a 3rd party site and one through iTunes, all said the same thing.

Ended up using my girlfriends old windows PC to do a restore from DFU with the same ipsw version. Apple got this one wrong.

I had the same issue with both my iPads which weren't even on Beta iOS versions.

Anyway it's sorted now, did the OP come right?
