Is it just me? I just noticed that I can make my AT&T iPad into a mobile hotspot. Did AT&T finally allow this feature, or will it be disabled in the near future?

Correction, the feature is on the settings screen.
It doesn't mean it works or AT&T has set it up yet.

I noticed it to but when I try to turn it on, it directs me to a webpage that basically tells you to call AT&T.

It works for me...

Do you have an AT&T plan with hotspot on your phone?

Maybe because I don't have the prepaid plan.
I'll give them a call

I have the family share plan with shared data. Maybe that's why. It allows hotspot on all of your devices.

I jut didn't realize that they decided to allow hotspot on the iPad.
