iOS 6 gm OTA

Hi guys done a bit of google searching and its not really turned anything up is iOS 6 beta 4 to gm likely to be an over the air update. Only asking as im away from any decent net connection and using the iphone tethered for my connection so if i have to update i cant activate through itunes as my tether would be down. Thanks for the advice.

can i activate over 3g then plug in to tether and get the imei unlock

At this point in time I am not sure what will be possible , I hope OTA, but I like everyone else will only find out when it happens.
