iOS 6: iMessage & other Protocols

Can anyone comment if with iOS6 will iMessage allow the inclusion of other IM protocol like the Messages app on OSX does (yahoo, aol, google)?? That right there would kill pretty much all IM clients and really can't see why they couldn't allow this feature.
 
I have not heard anything about this & I feel that it is a huge want by all users so if it were available we would know. Thats just my opinion though.
