Hey guys...

So even before I got my paws on the new iPhone 5 for myself, I had an iPhone 4 8GB. (My current iPhone 5 is the White 16GB version) When I lock my phone and keep it locked for like 5 minutes, then press the Home button to unlock I get disconnected from my wireless network and it displays "E" for a fraction of a second then reconnects to my wireless network again.

I am getting stressful regarding this because I am unable to receive any notifications via email, Viber, KIK, Steam, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, IPB Mobile or MSN. These are the key apps I wish to be receiving notifications from when available, however with this connection and reconnection issue I am unable to do so.

The iPhone 5 is a wonderful piece of hardware, don't get me wrong. But the problem is, when I am in bed for example, I wish to be able to receive all possible notifications I have to notify me of it incoming. Unfortunately at this moment in time I am unable to hear the notification sound for Facebook notifications either, which as I've read all over the Internet is an iOS 6 issue, not the Facebook app.

Is there a way I can fix the wireless connection/disconnection issue?

Thanks.

Apparently this is a battery saving "feature" which is quite ridiculous seeing as 3G / Data consumes more battery when in use.
