Purely because my poor 3G connection is faster than the broken pos wifi.

I've never known an update to break wifi connectivity so badly. Barely scraping 0.2mbps on my iP4S over wifi, where as my PC is hitting 7mbps every time.

Apple are getting worse by the day. Amateurs.

I've not had these problems.

Does it happen on every wifi you connect to or just at home?

No issues here. Sounds like you should contact Apple Care and discuss with them. You might get further there than crying on here.

I've had zero WiFi issues with my iPhone 4 on iOS 6 or my iPhone 5. iOS 6 must just hate you for some reason ;)

none here either.

these posts crack me up; instead of saying something like "wifi issues after updating to ios 6; help!" they make these insane ABSOLUTE claims.

take a deep breath, then come to the forums to get help (or whatever). ;)

Just because you have a problem doesn't mean it is important in the greater world. I'm sure there is a solution if your aim is to fix and not to complain.

I think reading this board and remembering the same board when other releases came out I think this is the one with the fewest real problems. OK maps is missing a bunch of stuff and that counts, but if you could go back to previous releases and read the threads you'd probably say this was the best release from a user quality issue.

People also tend to forget that a major reason and part of a realease is to support the new hardware.

People also forget that Apple may set the platform for stuff but it counts on others to implement items such as Passport - it can't create passports for all the vendors who have different standards and want to do different things and need to interface with different back end systems. People seem to expect that all applications will be updated minute 1 to take advantage of new capabilities and new applications.

If you think it is the worst and Apple is losing it then your path is clear - go to another solution.

I remember when the Internet was for pron. Now it seems to be for whining. Nobody even bothers to troubleshoot their issues anymore. They immediately jump online to unleash their unfounded fury.

Call support and spout that refuse and see how far you get with a resolution to your problem. There should really be an IQ test required before Internet access is accessible to people.

But they really enjoy crying about it. Getting the problems fixed by apple would spoil it for them.

I haven't had any issues with wifi. I don't even really use it unless it's required. Here's the speed test comparisons.
