iOS 6 Time Release

Hi. I live in the UK. I presume that iOS 6 will be released at midnight in the US. Is that right? So in UK it will be avaliable to download at 8am? I remember last year iOS 5 was released at midnight everywhere as I was up trying to download it. Thanks.

ummm no.
it is usually released at around 10am - 11am US west coast time, which equates to around 6pm - 7pm UK time.

releasing it at midnight would be idiotic.

Ah. Ok. That's what I should of said. I remember now. I tried to download iOS 5 ASAP but ended up finally downloading it around midnight. Cheers.
