Some people i know who have upgraded to iOS 6 say it deleted all their music on their iPod touch 4th gens. This has made me kinda wary of updating mine, which is running 5.1.1. Has anyone else had this problem?

First, never use you're iPod as your primary location for storing your music. This is the ID10T error since the iPod first launched. Always have a backup copy either on another physical media (hard drive/dvd/cd) and/or a reliable Cloud solution. Never make your mobile device you're only source for your files.

Create a Backup of your iPod before upgrading.

If you're really paranoid backup that backup.

well yeah

Thanks and i do back up my iPod and its music. However it would cause a lot of unnecessary work and cussing, so i was just wondering if anyone else had that problem.
