iPhone IOS 6 video and music

Updated to IOS 6 on my iphone and now it is having a problem when playing music and videos. It seems like it has something to do with the the position of the phone in landscape and portrait. When playing music and you move the phone it will skip. Playing videos, if you change the view from landscape to portrait the movie will start over. Is anyone experiencing this after the update and if so, is there a fix? Thanks
