iOS 6

I am strapped for cash and looking at a refurb Ipad 2. I read iOS 6 might be coming in 3rd the quarter. Anyone thing the Ipad 2 might be under powered to handle this?

Whys that? The 3GS supports ios5 and is over 3 years old. The original iPad is less than 2 years old. I say it will be handle to ios6 but probably not ios7 or whatever they'll call it.

I haven't experience iOS5 on a 3GS. I'm sure it can support it. Just not sure if I'd enjoy it.

I'm with you. Apple doesn't ditch products after 2 years. It may be missing a feature or two, but the iPad 1 will run iOS6.
My old iPod Touch didn't get wallpapers and multitasking (though I jailbroke to add those features) but it still ran the new OS (forget which number).

Depends for me. OSX is designed for mouse/keyboard, so too much would be a bad thing.
