Weird, when I send someone an iMessage, normally I can see they've read it (assuming they've turned that feature on). Since updating to 7.0.3 today, when someone's read the message, I go into iMessage, open the conversation, and for a split second it says "Delivered" and then almost instantly changes to "Read" ben if they read it 10 minutes prior. It's barely noticeable except it's just about a half of a second, so it is noticeable and to me sticks out like a sore thumb.

Seems like a glitch... curious if anyone else wants to run a few tests and see if the issue replicates itself. Not an earth-ending bug but a bit of an annoyance nonetheless.

:)

FYI - on the reduced animation toggle, so if you're going to try and replicate, make sure you try with reduced animation as well.

i wouldnt call this a serious glitch at all. its just taking an extra second for the message thread to update. all that matters is if the read time was correct.
